The Scriptures:
The Bible from Genesis to Revelation is the inspired Word of God. The Bible is complete and should not be added to or taken away from. 2 Timothy 3:16

The Godhead:
God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are one in unity, called the Trinity and are co-existent, co-equal, and co-eternal. 1 John 5:7

Man, His Fall and Redemption:
Man was created in the likeness of God, but because of Adam’s fall, sin came into the world – Ephesians 5:12 All have sinned at one time or another and are guilty of God’s judgment – Romans 3:23, 6:23. But because Jesus died on the cross, He paid the debt for our sins – Romans 5:8, Ephesians 2:8-9.

Salvation:
Freedom from sin has been made possible through God’s grace – Titus 2:11. By simply confessing our sins and asking for forgiveness from Jesus, all our past sins are erased and we are made brand new in God’s sight – 1 John 1:9, 2 Cor. 5:17.

The Church:
The true church is made up of a group of people who believe in and live for Jesus Christ – Colossians 1:18. We believe it is important and necessary to attend church as often as possible –

Hebrews 10:24-25 Baptism:
Baptism is to be totally submerged under water, which is a direct command of Jesus – Matt. 28:19. This is a symbol or representation of Christ death, burial, and resurrection. We are to die to our old way of living, bury our sins, and begin a new life in Jesus – Romans 6:4-11.

Baptism of the Holy Ghost:
The baptism of the Holy Ghost is a gift from God – Matthew 3:11. It is a promise from Jesus Christ to be received after Salvation – John 14:16-17, Ephesians 1:13-14. The evidence of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by speaking in tongues – Acts 2:4, 38-39, 1 Corinthians 14

Sanctification:
The bible teaches that without holiness no man will see the Lord – Hebrews 12:14. This is not an overnight transition but a progressive work starting from the day of salvation. This process is called sanctification – 1 Corinthians 6:11; 1 Thess. 5:23.

Lord’s Supper:
The Lord’s Supper or communion, is a commandment of Jesus Himself, in memory of His death, burial and resurrection. It is limited to Christian believers – 1 Corinthians 11:27-29.
.
The Resurrection of the Just (Rapture):
The Bible promises, “This same Jesus shall so come in like manner” (Acts 1:11). His coming is imminent; when He comes, “The dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17). Following the tribulation, He shall return to earth, as King of kings, and Lord of lords, and together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests He shall reign a thousand years (Revelation 20:6).

The Lord’s Return:
It is unwise to teach that the Lord will come at some specified time, thereby setting a date for His appearing, and it is also unwise to teach, preach or publish visions of numbers and dates which would tend to fix the time of the second coming of the Lord (Mark 13:32, 33). We believe the Bible presents the coming of Christ as personal imminent pre-tribulation and pre-millennial. We further contend that this position alone admonishes watchfulness, incites holy living, prevents spiritual declension and provides maximum incentive and motive for urgency and zeal in evangelizing the unsaved.

Hell and Eternal Retribution:
The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire, and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the gospel or for repentance (Hebrews 9:27). The lake of fire is literal (Revelation 19:20). The terms “eternal” and “everlasting” used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned (Matthew 25:41-46) in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence, as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the presence of God.

Human Sexuality:
We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. Any servant participating in any of the above sexual acts shall be terminated from leadership positions in the church. We believe that the only marriage is the joining of one biologically born man and one biologically born woman through Holy Matrimony and not through common law. We believe that God made man in His image and God made woman. No man or woman is qualified to take the act of God to change their selves as in transforming their original bodies to a different sex. Therefore any minister, employee or volunteer of Liberty House that has performed such as act shall be removed from their position immediately.
